# Lit Designers

> Book design and self-publishing services for independent authors: editorial services, cover design, interior design, keyword and metadata work, retail platform setup, and marketing assessments. No packages and no royalty share. Authors keep every right, every royalty, and their name on every page.

Lit Designers is a design studio, not a publisher. The author is always the publisher of their own book; we provide the editing, design, and go-to-market craft around it. Every service can be bought on its own, and every project starts with a free, no-obligation consultation of about 30 minutes, followed by a written scope with line-item pricing within two business days.

## Editorial services

Editorial work is priced per 1,000 words of manuscript (US dollars). Word count divided by 1,000, multiplied by the rate, is the quoted price. Each edit can be bought on its own.
